Sheffield Detective Mac Rivers discovers the late Patrick in an oversized foot locker left at the back door of the police station. Together, he and Brenda get to the bottom of the murder. Although the missing wedding guests all become suspects in the case, Brenda discovers an odd attendee who becomes an albeit unreliable witness to the crime: Alexandra Cornell.
